Q: Can I use product photos off your website for my website?
A: No. All photos on the Comet Kart Sales are copyrighted. We work hard taking photos of new products and promoting our products, if other websites just lift our copyrighted material it doesn't give us much motivation to take new photos. We kindly ask that you take your own photos!
Q: Where is Comet Kart Sales located?
A: We are due East about 20 minutes of Indianapolis on US 40 in Greenfield. See our contact page for directions and store hours.
Q: Can I visit Comet?
A: Absolutely! We have a large show room with lots of safety gear in stock, new and used karts and pretty much every part you see on the online store!
Q: How long will it take to get my box UPS Ground?
A: We have a UPS Ground Map here, also keep in mind that the map shows business days only, Saturday and Sundays are "extra" days you have to add to the map transit times.
Q: What can I do if I need a part added to my order that I can't find on the site?
A: When you are checking out just put in the part or description in the Special Instructions box. We have orders like this all the time.
What if I can't find a part on the site or catalog?
A: Just drop us an email. We might have it in stock, we just haven't been able to add it to our online catalog, if not we will do our best to find it. You can also just add it to your order in the special instructions box, see the questionright above this.
How long does it take to get an email response back?
A: Depends on the question. We do our best to answer all emails in 48 hours.
If it is part of a order we try to email the customer the same day. Tech questions are usually answered in 48 hours. If you fail to get a response it has probably been flagged as SPAM. We get thousands of SPAM emails a day and unfortunately actual emails get caught in the filter occasionally by accident, we do our best to find the real emails in the SPAM folder but occasionally we miss one.
I didn't get an email notification yet for my order!
A: As long as you pressed submit you probably typed in your email address wrong, emails do not have "www." at the beginning of them. Please call us to confirm that we received your internet order if you do not get a confirmation.
Do you email a tracking number for my order?
A: Yes we do. They will come from "UPS Quantumship" and they are often thought to be SPAM by SPAM Filter programs so make sure you check your SPAM folder. The only reason you won't receive tracking information is if your email was given to us incorrectly.
Do you have _______ in stock?
A: The vast majority of the items on our website are stocking items. If a product is unavailable from our supplier for an extended period of time we try to put Out of Stock on the item. If it's an important part just email us or call us and we will check stock.
I want to see a picture of something you have on your website before I buy it.
A: No problem, just email us a description of the part and we will email you a photo of it ASAP.
When will my order ship?
A: Assuming that the item is in stock, we will ship it out that day, as long as it was ordered before 3:00 pm Eastern Time. Orders that are placed after 3:00 pm will be shipped out the following business day. If you order something on Friday, don't expect your package until the following week even if you ship it overnight. You have to pay a UPS Saturday Delivery fee to get your part on Saturday. In the event you do want Saturday Delivery you will have to put that in the Special Instructions Box at checkout. If you have an extremely urgent order that you need to order after 3pm Eastern time PLEASE call us instead!
How often is the site updated, the news page hasn't changed in (length of time here)?
A: We don't always put updated news on the front page but we are constantly adding parts and items on the site. We update the Online Catalog at least 3 to 4 times a week.

Is there a Comet Kart in my area?
The only Comet Kart is in Greenfield, Indiana. We operate a small parts shop at New Castle Motorsports Park as well. If you need something taken out to NCMP please place your order online (PLEASE make sure you put in the Special Instructions box that you want the order taken out to NCMP) or over the phone and we can have it delivered to NCMP and waiting on you for when you arrive! Please order a day ahead of time so we can make arrangements to have your order taken to the track.
Can you ship an order to (Country Name Here)?
Absolutely, but we do have some requirements. We require all International Orders to be prepaid by Paypal, Money Order or Certified Check before we can ship any parts.
We cannot accept ANY credit cards for International Orders.
Can I use Paypal?
A: Yes! We have updated the shopping cart so we can now take Paypal orders easier. Please keep in mind that your price at checkout will not include the shipping charge. We will send you a Paypal money request with the total including shipping. Please do not send us a payment for what your items were at checkout. If the order is placed over the weekend then you will not receive a request from us until the work week begins again.
Why doesn't my shipping charge show up when I check out?
A: We charge ACTUAL shipping charges based on weight/dimension etc. Not a
set price per item which can overcharge the customer. This makes the shipping price much more fair and accurate for the customer. We
always put a packing list on the package with your shipping charges so you can
see exactly how much your shipping is, but we don't know how much the shipping
will be until we actually box up your order, place it on the UPS scale and type your information into the computer program.
Can I pay by COD?
A: No, due to past experiences of refused COD shipments we do not offer payment with COD anymore, we do however take Paypal.
