Road Course Practice at NCMP
The NCMP road course is open for practice and kart rentals from 11am until 7pm Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm Saturday-Sunday, excluding racedays, structured practice for weekend races and during corporate events. Practice is $25.00 per driver per day for non-KRA Members and $22.00 for KRA Members, see the kart rental page for rental kart prices.
Any Saturday's when there is open practice (non-raceday's) we will have practice for Kid Karts and Junior Novices ONLY from 12:30-1:30pm and 3:00-3:45pm on Saturday's. Regular open practice for everyone will start at 10am.
NCMP will not be available for open practice on racedays. Please check the schedule. If in doubt you are always welcome to contact us for clarification and availability.
Paved Oval Practice at NCMP
The paved oval at NCMP is open for practice. The oval will have open practice on Wednesday's, Thursday's and Friday's from 11am to 7pm weekly and on Sunday's from 10am to 5pm unless otherwise noted.
NCMP will not be available for open practice on racedays. If in doubt you are always welcome to contact us for clarification and availability.
Practice Rules -
*Airboxes MANDATORY for all Two Cycles and Shifters
*RLV Mufflers MANDATORY for all Briggs Engines
*Snell 2000 or Better Helmet, Jacket or Suit/Neckcollar/Gloves are Mandatory at all Times
*All Lead Weights must be cotter keyed or double nutted and all brakes and steering bolts/nuts must be cotter keyed per the major US karting rulebook
*All MINORS must have MINOR RELEASE on file and signed by Parent/Legal Guardian before they can be allowed to practice or race. NO EXCEPTIONS. (Form Available at Track)
*All drivers 5-12 years old must use an SFI approved ribvest when on track at NCMP.
